I was trying to do a reverse Google image search (not sure I did it right) on that Vault Boy image because his hand is so weird that it looks fake. Instead I found this:
Ah, okay, sure. I actually feel kind of old now. Sigh.
@TimJames that’s excellent. In that tradition, I literally just clicked on a link that takes one to random images and the first one my eyes fell on was this.
And, just for kicks, look were his right hand ended up. It’s a squeeze play!

I thought chihuahuas just always looked that way. Here, even the happy ones look kind of neurotic:
