I’m not sure if these are better PCs, but Dell has a couple of deals at the moment; looks like you can get either a Core i5-760 or Phenom II X6 1045T w/6GB RAM, 1TB HDD, & HD 5450 video card for $700. That video card is weaksauce, but everything else looks decent.
I went for a refurbished, hopefully I wont get burned. I7, 9gb, TB drive, and a 260 card for $700. Should do anything for two years and then a CPU upgrade will get two more.
I think you mean a video card upgrade rather then CPU. That CPU should last you a lot longer then the 260.
