Does anyone have suggestions for site with reliable and up to date reviews of LCD televisions? My Googling has only turned up things that are out of date and/or not convincing.
I’ve always been partial to www.avsforum.com, but it’s not exactly the most layman-friendly site - you end up really drinking from the firehose when you get there, so be prepared to do some research.
And you need to filter out the stuff you care about vs the stuff you don’t. But the people on there definitely know their stuff.
You should check out the PCMag.com HDTV reviews. Robert Heron (who is also one of the lead guys at DL.TV) is a true video geek, and is an ISF and THX certified tech to boot.
