Perhaps he is trying to shoot the rare species of flying mammoth (sorry for breaking hscroll):

Ok, this isn’t a spoiler, but in the Thieves Guild and need to find someone names Tonilia to get my armor. I have walked all around the Ragged Flagon and cannot find her. I also went into the cistern area and didn’t see her anywhere there either. Where in the heck is she?

She was in the Ragged Flagon for me.

She seems to spend most of the day standing on the platform that abuts the central water area in the Ragged Flagon, rather than the primary seating area.

She’s probably right behind you. Check the little dock area straight across from the bar. She’ll sit in both the far left and the near right corner. Also, sometimes she’ll just be at a table eating. I haven’t ever noticed her running off to sleep or anything yet.

Hmm. walked all around and was looking at and talking to everyone and didn’t see her. I’ll keep looking.

Well, you could try

console hacks

player.moveto 000B882A

to see if that helps.

Maybe a dragon snuck into into the sewers and ate her.

Or, since the last patch, backed into her so hard she got stuck somewhere bad.

Zeitgeist, didn’t David Copperfield do that mammoth levitation thing at some point?

Can’t do that on the Xbox can I?

No, afaik console commands don’t work on consoles.

…ironically enough.

So apparently each area is tied to a faction, and your relationship with that faction dictates what monetary value item counts as stealing.

So, to boost enchanting today, I went and took every pair of boots I could find in the Solitude palace, enchanted them, and sold them. Wasn’t stealing. Now, if I had taken their clothes…

“HERE EVERYONE, I MAGICKED YOUR BOOTS”.

I’m no David Copperfield, Sir. I was travelling in the east of Skyrim when this beauty peacefully flew by.

Since the patch Dragons won’t fight back for me anymore. They just land on the ground and look at me. I can walk right up and punch them in the nose, then kill them at my leisure. :(

Oh Bethesda…

Doesn’t sound that much different than before the patch, honestly.

I found some random Draugts more dangerous.

Good news is that the last dragon I fought attacked back. I don’t know whats changed, I originally reproduced the problem after quitting and reloading, so I don’t imagine that’s what fixed it. Oh well fingers crossed I don’t see it again.

Ah, that explains a lot. I’ve been wondering why in some areas it was seemingly arbitrary whether I could take an object or only steal it.
