That is so weird.

A civil war against NRA members sounds really unappealing. It was good to see the number of negative comments on the NRA FB about this ad. It is pretty scary.

This is what happens when gun sales are down.

We just all have to agree that if the war does start we both immediately target the other side’s crazy political figures first.
As long as they think it will be other people dying, they aren’t going to give a shit.

That’s is so utterly revolting.

Good god that is completely reckless advertising. I’m one of the, “them,” mentioned. A democratic voting, liberal gun owner. Apparently I’m the enemy. I should fear for retaliatory strikes against me.

That is INSANE. They should revoke that advertisement, ASAP, and apologize immediately for egregious lack of judgement.

I see what you did there!

Even though they pretend not to be terrified, actions like this show the GOP led house very much want to take away 45’s war toys. Ending the AUMF (presented by a CA Dem!) means no more president authorized military action without express consent of congress.

“…fight this violence of lies with a clinched fist of truth”.

Uh, how many games do you have to win in the NRA season to clinch the fist of truth? Just curious.

That sounds like something The Tick would say. SPOOOON!

Nah, that would be the “clenched sphincter of truth”

2018 could be trouble:

Lovely. No wonder Rs behave as if they’re not afraid of losing seats in '18 and '20. in addition to gerrymandering and voter suppression they’ll straight up have their Russian hacker pals steal elections.

Rick Wilson answered Twitter questions about Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression but he shrugged it off as no big deal. I’m having a hard time believing him.

I hope the states tell Kobach to pound sand. So ridiculous.

As far as gerrymandering, I wouldn’t consider +22 GOP seats in the House as ‘no big deal.’ And here’s a study on voter suppression. (Not peer reviewed.)

If I were a Dem I’d introduce a National Voter ID bill (government issued ID) and make Republicans come out against it - clearly they are not concerned with the integrity of the vote.

That said, there’s little I’d put past Republicans these days.

What’s odd to me is that the NRA can’t be arsed to come up with a firearm metaphor. If they really want to lobby for gun rights, they should call it the “clenched Glock of truth” or something. Because if you come at a “violence of lies” with nothing but a “clenched fist of truth”, what if the violence of lies has a gun?

Exactly. I mean the Colt 45 “peacemaker” has to be able to be used somehow.

Fortunately they are only facing down the Limp Wrist of Cuck.

Well played, I laughed while reading that!
