How long until Trump tweets, “You aren’t even a state,” or some other gaffe that will get deleted?

If anything this might be a strong incentive to them to become one.

PR should be a state, but I don’t see it happening any time soon b/c there’s a good chance it would be a liberal state. It also opens the door to DC becoming a state, etc. Not to mention that I suspect that in the small minds of people associated with making these decisions that 50 is a great number but adding a 1 to it would ruin the balance of the universe. Besides, where would you put the 51st star???

I don’t think it opens DC in any way. DC is a unique animal.

I don’t see them becoming a state just because they keep waffling on it so much, that it’s unlikely to happen.

But yes PR should become a state, this is pretty bad:

I know you are being sarcastic, but 51 actually works quite well for the flag. 3 rows of 9, 3 rows of 8,. staggered in the same way it currently is. You’d probably have to make the blue field slightly wider and make each star a bit larger, but it would work just fine.

MORE BLUE.
This is the future libtards want!

Ahha, you caught me in my cunning plan!

Well, they did already vote to become a state this year. Admittedly on a very low turnout due to boycott, but still. They don’t need incentive, as it’s not in their power.

You all should really be watching John Oliver. He did a segment on the issue of territories becoming states. At the end of episode he revealed that the US flag they had been showing all episode had 51 stars and no one noticed.

51 Stars

The video it’s from.

Hawaii’s just an island in the Pacific, so why would Trump care about some island in the Caribbean?

That’s beautiful.

Nobody tell Mike that Pat was an atheist too.

I don’t go to sporting events, but I wonder what people would do if I knelt during the anthem? I imagine people would give me a bunch of shit, then I’d have to say “I spent ten years in the military and fought in Iraq. What have you done for the flag?”
