Trump tower is surrounded by other high-rises that are usually taller than it. It doesn’t take a veteran Battlefield player to get the idea of sniping from another high-rise. Or better yet, a rocket launcher. The entire city block must be secured. I don’t know how they’re securing the air-space. Latest estimates I saw were $2m a day.

We seem to be rapidly running out of allies.

My English husband’s green card is expiring this year - we can’t start the renewal process until April. But I am legit worried that Trump is going to have a tiff with the UK, and he’ll retaliate by revoking the green cards of all Brits… or at the very least, not renewing those that expire.

There was a time when I would have thought that a ridiculous notion. :/

We’re going to have a hundred thousand people outside his bedroom window calling him a tapir during his state visit, so yeah, this is likely.

You Brits, always coming through for us.

I think you don’t have to worry at all with May bending over for him. She’s worse than Blair in his abject submission to Bush, for pity’s sake. If Trump gets protested in London he’ll just pass some derisive remarks about Scotland Yard and threaten to invade and everything will be fine.

Will you get a tattoo of their face, on your face?

One hundred thousand people waving placards outside one of the Queens palaces will embarrass her greatly, the court will then let various Lords and Ministers know, and May will have to take the blame and the state visit was all her idea and didn’t even go through the formal channels and well, that is not on and Lizzie will have her inch of skin for this. May will get stabbed in the back by one of the Tories watched by a complicit Tory party and be replaced.

Even if they dig out Boris’s water cannon and halt the riots then Trump insulting the Queen in some fashion is almost guaranteed, and is about the only thing that will piss off Brits across the spectrum.

Look how we worded this.

Spencer’s would get a spot on my arm. Trump’s gets face priority. Pence’s gets dick, though, cuz Pence is real scared of cocks.

In particular, said Lupu, the draft order “privileges” a certain set of beliefs about sexual orientation and gender identity—beliefs identified most closely with conservative Catholics and evangelical Christians—over others. That, he said, goes beyond “what RFRA might authorize” and may violate the Establishment Clause.

Lupu added that the language of the draft “might invite federal employees,” for example, at the Social Security Administration or Veterans Administration, “to refuse on religious grounds to process applications or respond to questions from those whose benefits depend on same sex marriages.” If other employees do not “fill the gap,” he said, it could “lead to a situation where marriage equality was being de facto undermined by federal employees, especially in religiously conservative communities,” contrary to Supreme Court rulings.

But seriously if you vote Republican kill yourself.

Donald Trump

“Making America hated again”

Unfortunately, he won’t know what a tapir is. Sad.

I think at his heart Trump is far more isolation than Hillary every was. (Which for me was a major reason to vote for Hillary). But it is not the planned wars that scare me the most. It is the ones that countries just drift into, WWI being a prime example. America never really had a coherent policy to get involved in Vietnam (other than honoring our SEATO obligation) but somehow we gradually got sucked and boatload of money, a dozen years and 56,000 lives latter we got out. Trump is a walking talking diplomatic disaster waiting to happen.

Well an option is for him to get his US citizenship, assuming you are a US citizen?

There are so many threads and they’re all moving too fast, but has this come up? I bet Trump will be bombing Iran within 30 days.

Following on from @Balasarius, here’s an article about how Bannon has on his news/radio shows said that a war with China is going to happen in the next five or ten years, and that there’s going to be another major war in the Middle East.

I didn’t realize things were getting a bit violennt.

This is the same judicial philosophy that approved the gutting of the voting rights act (passed by congress, using the power granted to it under the 15th amendment) right? I’d just like to check that.
