I hate that 60% of my screen on FB seems to be for UI on one side and contacts on the other while the middle is filled with post after post after post and yet somehow I actually miss posts from the people I’m actually there to read.

I’ve no problem using and sticking with simple tools that just work.

Email works. Got a family distro that every Sunday w/o fail sees some emails go out with everyone chiming in and equally free to ignore.

Signal for texting, yeah, it simply works too.

And gasp, my cell does this thing called face time that existed a hell of a long time before this zoom thing showed up. And even more exotic, you can call people on it too.

That’s my only use for Facebook these days. Unfortunately everyone’s migrated away from Craigslist and OfferUp.

I do a lot of Siri dictation. Typing sucks, especially when the conversation goes on… and on… I usually just call them at that point.

I use email. My kids know that’s what I do so it works with them. Email, Qt3, and an odd FB Messenger message now and then and that’s my social media use.
