Checks calendar, hum by my calculations that’s about 10 months late. Fairy tales have been on twitter about covid the whole time we’ve all been hunkered down.
I plan to get vaccinated with great enthusiasm as soon as I’m able to.
And once there are enough doses of vaccine to allow everyone wanting and needing inoculation to get their shots, I plan to not be overly concerned about Charles Darwin doing his thing (at least as far as it concerns those who willfully mislead others on the subject.)

I am concerned about the kids. I hope the schools will require it and not allow the half dozen ways for parents to weasel out of it.
I am very curious about what official and unofficial social pressure will look like after 6 months or so, when everyone who wants vaccination has had chance to get it. Maybe something besides a sticker, like an armband. The evangelicals always love a good ‘mark of the beast’ analogy.
It’s really quite something how the change in presidents and the vaccine rollout coincided. It’s a perfect storm for conspiracy-addled dimwits and the unregulated social media platforms that fuel their lunacy.
AFAIK they still haven’t done any testing on kids, which means they may not approve the vaccine for kids until 2022.

Mostly true. Last I heard it’s 16+. I don’t know that 16-17 year olds can override their parents to get a vaccine. There were some cases near that age, I think. Not sure how they ended. They also didn’t test on pregnant woman.
