In addition to the FBI, I also believe that Tim Pool has information relevant to an ongoing criminal investigation, and I am so happy that he has offered his assistance in the matter. I predict that the brilliant Tim Pool will help the FBI solve this baffling case.
Lying to an FBI agent is a crime. That’s why they interview you in pairs. So the other can testify as a witness.

Look, he might actually have spoken with a lawyer; I have no way of knowing. What I do know is that in the case where he (along with other right wing media) accused the wrong guy of that Texas mall shooting, and the guy sued him, he was attempting to deal with the guy’s attorney himself, without an attorney.

Tim Pool isn’t going to jail, unfortunately. He didn’t do anything illegal. What he’s worried about, I think, is having to give back the money. I’m sure he’s already spent a lot of it.
There’s a non-zero chance he lies to the feds and they get him for that at the very least.
