Just came across this while browsing the Live For Speed forums: http://www.kegetys.net/SoftTH/ Kegetys, who is fairly well known in some racing and flight sim gaming circles for his low-level game mods, has implemented a scheme similar to Matrox’s Triplehead in software, allowing Direct3D games to be displayed across 3 monitors without the need for special hardware (apart from PCI-e cards and 3 monitors). Looks promising. Unfortunately, I’m still using an AGP video card so can’t give it a shot to see how well it works. Has anyone here tried it and, if so, how well does it work?
