Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

It’ll probably be %75 off by the time it releases. ;)
I bought it ages ago before I decided to try avoid early access, and haven’t played in almost a year. I’d imagine there’s heaps more to it now? How close to done is it?
(note it was kinda cool and promising, but really clunky back then)
