For me bluesnews.com, rockpapershotgun and kotako deliver almost all of my gaming news. I click thru em at least twice a day.

Frankly, you should expect that in today’s day and age.

I was asking because your videos take most of the left sidebar, and that space could be used for other stuff, but if you want to bring more visibility to your videos, maybe it’s better to leave them there.

The vids are primarily each post as well. I’ve rearranged the blog a bit to maybe make it more streamlined and the social icons more noticeable.

Let me ask y’all, would you guys be okay if, maybe on Monday, I posted about what’s coming up that week, like what game I’m covering, the podcast topic and so on? That way it’s not blatant? I ask because there have been so many times where someone has asked if I’ve covered something and I indeed have.

I’d be cool with that.

I’d have no objection either. You’re essentially the Space Game Authority here, after all. Tom is the Decider, though.

So Klingon Academy is a huuuuuuuuugely massive disappointment in multiplayer. It has one mode. One. A skirmish with you, others and AI ships. That’s it. No missions, no objectives, no waves, nothing. So, so saddening when compared to the stellar single player game. Sigh.

Just wanted to say, I lucked onto this thread because of my tapatalk feed. And through this I saw the video on Rogue Space and thought it looked cool. So I went in on early access.

Thanks Brian!

Hello, welcome and yay!

Do you mean Rogue System, just to clarify? I hope so because that shit is dope, yo.

Yeah, meant Rogue System. And it is dope. Word.

Woohoo! I have a copy from a little while back, but I keep meaning to dive into the early access my own self. Might as well put that in the budget for next month. :)

Just saw your reddit post about Falcon and Steam. Woot!

Edit: 2 hrs to unlock.

Edit 2: Still not available. :p

I was away for a week but return to find out two great things!

Approaching Infinity released patch 1.3 - (pricey but imo one of the best roguelikes out there, I got more than my moneys worth)
Its got 3 new officer classes, new biomes, and a new alien race.

Unending Galaxy updated to 1.1.5
A new faction, new maps, and a ton of polish as the dev is preparing for the big Steam release.

I can’t wait to dive back into UG. Love that game so much.

Brian, what do you know about Tharsis, which hits the streets tomorrow? It looks to be right up my alley, but from the tutorial video it also looks to be very dry and luck-based.

I’ve only played one session, in which the entire crew died of course, but it was kinda neat yet odd. You roll dice to do just about everything, from repairing to healing, and sometimes the RNG seemed way too R. I also wasn’t clear on how I died as I’d been successful at some needed repairs, then poof, dead. It was a tad bit frustrating honestly. I’ll be giving it more of a go, and we’ll be having the devs on our podcast in a few weeks I believe. I’d say now to maaaaaaaybe wait.

Thanks. I put it on my wishlist and we’ll see what happens.

Alllriiiight, time to try some polite promotion! :)

Hey folks, here’s what’s coming up this week! This week’s Game of the Week Let’s Play is 2006’s Sword of the Stars, which I’m finally diving into after having missed it when it first came out. It’s sooooo good!

On Tuesday at 5:30 PM Pacific on YouTube, we’ll be talking to the developer of Star Nomad 2, which is a really excellent game you guys.

On Thursday at 5:30 PM Pacific on YouTube, for our weekly Multiplayer Madness we’ll be diving into the campaign of Starlancer, since it works via Evolve’s virtual LAN and has full co-op in the campaign mode!

That’s it! Thanks for your time! :)

Play with all of the expansions, it’s a totally different and much improved game.

I’m guessing he is doing so because that’s all the Steam offers, but you are absolutely right.
