Just as a usual reminder (especially for folks jealous of Mr. Rubin):

Then load it up with a good soundfont (like this one: http://gmrsf2.blogspot.com/)
When playing a DOSBox game, set it up so that music is General MIDI. GOG usually has a separate shortcut in the start menu that launches the game’s setup program.
I have used that before, scharmers! It’s great you guys.
Sadly no, only the MT-33 goes to 11. Those are super hard to find though.
OMG YOU GUYS! Look what’s coming to Steam, finally!
Really curious about that one, so I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
But I’ll say this - if it is Falcon 4 in space, I’m all over it.
This is exactly what it’s looking to be. We had the dev on the podcast around a year ago, gonna bring him back soon for his third visit.
OMG! That tells me absolutely nothing about why I should be “OMG” about this!
Rogue System has been in development for a while now, and is looking to be a switchology-style space sim (like Falcon 4.0 or DCS) with a dynamic campaign and multiple ship types, eventually branching out into open, Privateer-style gameplay.

SO. EXCITED.
Wow - that one has been on my radar for a LONG while (I’d forgotten about it). Also looking forward to release.
I played a bit of it last night. It’s really something.
How would you compare it to Rebel Galaxy and X3?
Well right now it’s only a cockpit and a flight model with some tutorial missions. I’d say its far more for the hard core/niche player than either of those two games.
Seriously, it looks like an astronaut training simulator minus the G-forces and the physical training.
Welcome to another great week of space gaming my friends! This week, I continue my look at Stellaris with a whole new race, since the previous got bottled up. I also have videos of of Space Pirates and Zombies 2, as well as the new Elite: Dangerous Engineers Beta.
Tuesday on the podcast, at 5:30 PDT, we’ll talk to Andreas Suika, developer of the Starflight-inspired The Long Journey Home.
For this week’s Viewer’s Volition, on Thursday, at 5:30 PDT, you tell me what you’d like me to play via this poll! You can vote up until Wednesday at Noon PDT.
Thanks folks, have a great week!
I almost voted for Universal Combat but decided I didn’t want to inflict that on you and your viewers, Brian, so I chose Stellaris MP instead.

Trancendancy! Because most people forgot it was even a thing :(
Hell I haven’t played it in probably 10 years so…
It’s still a great game, even has some expansions now. We had the dev on several podcasts back, great guy.
