I love it to bits and I’ll buy every DLC they release if I can, but that’s me. I think it’s like Madden, but leaner, better, and more fun. And with far more casualties. Speaking of which, you can even kill the referee, which would have been quite useful in that last Saints game, you know.

“Captain Rain of Helium in the Void of Space”

Someday I’ll make my space game, and I hope I find a better name than “Space Captain”.

I wonder if there’s a game called “Pace ‘n’ Space” somewhere.

Just call it “Space Place” and make it look like a 1980’s kid show with a terrible theme song.

“Space Place!”

The Space Game

Taken.

I saw that for a second and was like whaaaaaat.

Pigs are relatively smart animals, right? So if I made a space game I might call it…

Planetary scientists have fairly recently said that it actually rains diamonds on gas giants. I think Diamond Rain would be a cool name for a space game.

Just paste the GIF file as a URL. Discourse does the rest, usually.

Capiche.

No, that has been over-awesomed by this.

I’m still sad there was never a Pigs in Space game.

Yet. ;)

Jim Henson Company already tried diversifying with stuff like Farscape, which was a great show, but got canceled after four seasons.

At least we got a miniseries to cap the show off properly.

I wouldn’t say “properly”. The miniseries felt rushed and in a hurry and was not really satisfying.

More satisfying than the finale was.

The miniseries was the finale.

On the topic of Helium Rain, how much space piloting skill is required to play it enjoyably? I suck at both FPS style shooting and joystick jockeying but I’ve enjoyed easier space sims and space sims where upgrades/strategy/power gaming can make up for being crap at the controls. My all time favorite is still Freelancer.

So how easy/hard is Helium Rain for someone who’s just not that good with fast twitch controls?
