So I got the “we’ve been hacked” email from Kickstarter just like everyone else, but before that (and perhaps related) I got three spam emails that got past the Gmail filter: 2 of them where I’d supposedly signed up for new Gmail addresses that started the same as my main “public” email, and one (in Spanish) that wanted me to confirm that I’d signed up for a League of Legends account. Besides just disassociating the two email addresses from my own, and ignoring the email from the LoL guys (Riot Games) is there anything else I should do? Luckily my Kickstarter password was a unique one to that site.
Anyone?
