Stalker Call of Pripyat is a gorgeous game. All the graphical elements are top-notch, but of particular note is the art direction, which evokes an incredibly bleak environment and still manages to be mysterious and beautiful at the same time..

Yep, that was the place I was talking about in the comments yesterday. After two games exploring terrifying labs, psychic industrial plants, and urban complexes full of bandits, all you encounter here is a couple of dogs. Brilliant.

That is, unless you try to break it and sprint through the whole thing. That would be a shame.

This is only tangentially related to the stalker games, but Chernobyl is open to tours! Stalker has great atmosphere. I'm glad to see you writing about your experiences. The mood of the world created makes even simple retrieval missions much more interesting.

More games need the possibility of nothing happening. Are there any locations in Fallout where nothing happens? If not, there should be.
