What happened that caused such a look?

Turning off the green screen background ruined it for me.

Wow, she needs to be cast in a Westworld role, stat!

So, other than that moment, presubablmbly no showing of the SQ42 content that only just barely missed Citizencon? Anything on the release of 2.7? What about 3.0, which was supposed to be 2016…?

Did they start another ship sale? I think there was another really exensove one due for launch on this livestream, wasn’t there?

Technically you can see for yourself on their supposed internal scheduling reports.

No SQ42 at all. Nothing about 2.7, though 2.6 has a tentative release date set in late December. Nothing about 3.0, but certainly not this year. Yes, there was another ship sale. And I don’t really know.

2.7 changed into 3.0, and will almost certainly not be coming out this year. 2.6 is the next update, and currently has an internal release date of December 8th.

So they have one more scheduled livestream opportunity left in 2016 to demonstrate anything of SQ42. I suspect we will see nothing in that case, since it missed Citizencon and the Anniversary livestream.

So how far behind are they on the promises for SQ42 timewise?

Depends on who you ask. Some will say they’re way behind, a few years at least. Some will say that CIG is never late, nor is it early, but that it will release things precisely when they are meant to.

I haven’t backed the game, but if you ask me, all I’ll say is that when they started selling/building SC, we were in a major “drought” of space games - and now space games are everywhere (and have been for a couple years).

This is correct, and it’s been pretty awesome.

They’re really filling a void, you might say.

You speak with a lot of gravity on this subject. I’m proud to be in your orbit.

And it’s not just that there is a large expanse of space games. Some are really quite stellar.

I feel like I can thrust your opinion. (sorry).

Bunch of space cadets in this thread.

I think you guys need to comet down a little.

Excessive punnery Mars this conversation.

Super…No variety in these puns at all!

I was trying to get Brian to blow up about the word “void” (which was a humorous observation about space game names) and you nerds turned it into a pun thread!

Serves me right I guess.
