Star Citizen - Chris Roberts, lots of spaceship porn, lots of promises

No, Evocati is from the Roman empire. Plural for Evocatus.

And my eyes can’t roll hard enough.

Spoken like a poor pleb without access to Evocati!

So are the Evocati people who received refunds and then bought back in?

Is Evocati under NDA?

No, they have nothing to do with refunds. Pay attention. Also scroll up.

Yes. But who cares? It’s always leaked anyway. Now more than ever, for a patch that was supposedly due out in Dec 2016.

It’s an unmitigated disaster. Complete meltdowns in the Evocati chat. “3.0 is a joke good that we test this first and the public can’t see this”

Oh for sure, just was wondering why I didn’t see any drama unfolding on reddit and everyone’s acting like i’ts going to be amazing once it gets on PTU.

Don’t you dare underestimate the power of the Kool-Aid.

That was probably a play on your Wikipedia link.

Evocatus (plural Evocati) was the Latin term for a soldier in the Roman army who had served out his time and obtained a discharge (Honesta missio) but had voluntarily enlisted again

All concierge members will now be in Wave 1 for PTU access after the NDA phase

It’s almost as if since they started Evocati, I have been saying that it was a bad idea and just used to milk backers for more money. Yup, I did. Back in April 2016. Star Citizen - The Extinction Level Event

Ah, right. Yeah no, that wasn’t their context for naming it Evocati.

Maybe they should. Like Evocati II or Evocati Jr. or something.
Dammit, they need to reclaim that money somehow! Every dollar counts at this point!
(Should we be giving them ideas like this?)

I think the correct term for it would be “sucker”.

So Avacados, without breaking NDA, how is it?

Fine. But it needs to be gussied up a bit. Gullibus, or something like that.

Credula.

I saw Chris Roberts on TV:

Sooooooo dreamy… ;)

All I wanted out of Star Citizen was Freelancer with updated graphics and a dynamic economy in the multiplayer, revisiting Bretonia, Rhienland, Kusari etc. Instead they built highly detailed fish-tanks and other crap that will never all work.
