MSFS was never billing itself as anything other than a flight simulator in the first place - and still isn’t. It’s a complete product on that score.
I’m not begrudging anyone having a good time. If the person enjoys mucking around with the alpha, that’s cool. But no one is building something like that for an alpha - they are doing it because they are preparing themselves for a finished product some day, that includes what CR has promised. It doesn’t mean he has to throw the PC out if the game were cancelled tomorrow obviously, but it points to a level of hype and excitement for a particular game that will come crashing to earth if and when the hustle falls apart - and that’s unfortunate.

Wow, I didn’t even notice it was a PC case until I re-read your post. I thought it was some overpriced cooler. But no, it’s an overpriced (and as you note probably ineffective) PC case. Boggle.
It will never happen. Forget about the fact that this studio is the one that built the web backend. They have zero gamedev experience. So ofc they’ve been staffing up for that. Then you have to wonder what ALL the other studios are doing if CIG is still farming out work to third-parties. It’s a scam and a long con.
