That’s old news. I wrote, not one, but three blogs about this several years ago. Nothing’s changed. Why? Because even with their bespoke version of CryEngine (no, they’re not using Lumberyard), they can’t do what they want.
It’s why the game is still, and always will be, session based. It’s not, never was, and never will be, an MMO - of any kind.
No kidding.
