Goddamnit, who said Beetlejuice three times?

I could have sworn I had heard a mic drop somewhere, and surely enough, this looks like the place.

Fuck yes!

Derek, what is your ultimate goal with your crusade against star citizen? Like, if things could pan out exactly as they do in your dreams, what happens?

A bunch of people go to jail?

Before the next breaking news that’s going in a new blog (“Star Citizen - The Great Gaming Heist”) , I want to give you guys some stuff to chew on.

  1. Search for these terms: “gizmondo Carl Freer upsala mafia”

  2. Make the connection (do a “where are the now?” research) between these four: Simon Elms, Nick Elms, Erin Roberts, Chris Roberts and “gizmondo” (hint: Warthog)

More soon.

ps: It’s a doozy

Oh my, this is about to get interesting to say the least. ;)

Who would those people be?

Please, please, Derek: I can only get so erect.

Apparently they actually are still releasing the Star Marine FPS module, in addition to the PU stuff. I had thought they were just going with the PU and scraping the Star Marine stuff.

I came here to post how entirely unimpressed with the scripted demo (not the tutorial) I was. But lo, the Anti-Chris has arrived so I don’t think there is any need to wave that flag any more!

If this ships in 2016 in any playable state I’ll be surprised. Happy, because then I wouldn’t have been filched out of money, but surprised.

Took me a while to get the pun, but then I did. Well done!

Eh, Gates and Jobs were generally decent enough human beings and their companies were pretty massive. Neither was really a “business man” though, they were far more regular guys with tech knowledge. They didn’t have to climb the corporate ladder full of sociopaths in pursuit of wealth at all costs. That was part of the journey, but it was never the destination.

Eh, Jobs was an alternative medicine wacko who signed his own death warrant (and I can only hope that his untimely and perhaps-preventable death kept anyone else from following him down that foolhardy path), was infamous for being a temperamental asshole toward his employees, and famously wasn’t much for supporting charity, either personally or through Apple itself. He was hardly a moustache-twirling villain, but he’d probably fall under the “uncomfortable shaking hands with” grouping from above, at best.

Always latest drivers and irrelevant question, since I get that error as well when I run out of memory on the GPU in my projects.

Here’s the culprit:

Derek Smart, Derek Smart, DEREK SMART!

Welcome back! :)

Are you suggesting that Star Citizen is related to the Gizmondo disaster in any meaningful way? As in - accidentally - connected to the Swedish (?) mafia? Or as in a project running into a window like a pigeon because of feature and scope creep? Just because Nick Elms - and old partner of Erin Roberts in the development of Starlancer - is working on the development of Squadron 42?

Man, one thing is to say “Huh, this whole SC business reminds me of <insert here notorious games industry stuff-hits-the-fan-badly episode>” and another thing is to connect that notorious games industry dog and pony show with organised crime. You sound like a tabloid headline trying to manipulate people as in expecting us to draw an inference like

  1. Mr. X has sex with parakeets
  2. Mr. X belongs to <insert minority group to be vilified>

Therefore, <minority group to be vilified> abuses parakeets. DEATH TO THE PARAKEET RAPISTS!1!1!!!

Seriously?

PS: Nice to meet you Mr. Smart - your fame precedes you :-)

Ok, I’m not convinced this is the real Derek Smart. He posts are usually (always?) much longer!

Also, Miramon said something about 8 CEOs, but he only refers to 7. I sense a mystery!

Maybe Derek Smart is actually a secret investor and all of the noise is calculated publicity. ;)

Bingo!
