After your opening move double Gambit, I was sure that you’d get to the Command Ship first, but I got it!
Aah, that game it was! I remember it was something like a 2 scout 1 viper draw and as usual… Doh, quite wasted the gambits. Wow, and I won this one?
Ok, but my luck in the end was really huge. At least this proves it is not all decided by the gambit cards.
I actually haven’t played a Gambits game yet that was decided by those cards.

I’ve had a couple where the other player started with the 8 damage or 8 authority card and I didn’t have the counterpart, just a couple of weaker cards like 2 trade. And I did lose those games… The damage/authority Gambits frequently come up with the other player having the counterpart card, and they’re not bad in that situation, but when one player gets one and the other doesn’t, it’s a pretty big balance boost on their side of the scale.
I haven’t gotten screwed like that yet…
