Thank ye!

The Golden Hindquarters nestles into a repair bay and picks up a load of special fuel before heading to the jump point to Sector 02.

scottagibson is in Sector 02 and his ship Golden Hindquarters has these upgrades:
o Tractor Beam: (1x) If you lose but your score is within 10 of your opponent, you may use the jump point.
o Volatile Fuel: (1x) Before a game starts, use to jump two sectors if you win that game by at least 50.

Uhm, I guess a quite stupid question to illustrate how much I understand what SR 15 is all about: I am in team green, so I can only get Items with the green goals? Or can I for example also make my opponent discard 3 cards in his last turn and get the yellow super goal, and the color of my team doesn’t matter at all?

Aaand my ship want to keep his name heart of gold II… II is for double power. And it reminds me of looking at the player grid before sending stupid PMs next time ;)

annie > iebob 33/-4 just in time!

For my reference, since Star Realms deletes older games from the archive:

up 1-0 over delirium
up 1-0 over robthomasson
Lost to Threag

Apologies if I missed this clarification, but Mithrophon beat me by under 5 points in game 1 (best of 3). Does my Boosted Scope do anything for me?

As a follow-on question to delirium’s: Normally I just do enough damage to end the game, figuring that piling on is bad form, but should people throw decorum to the wind in these matches and try to maximize damage, even if they’re not on the Green team?

The rules are in the original post. I’ll be back online a bit later.

Holstens reminder post for SR 15:

H:craig 1:0

Ind Playoffs S14
bobm over mithrophon 24/-28 = 52

Team Playoffs S14
Bobm over Klemnop 18/-8 = 26

Kyle 14 over Annie -16
Good game Annie, a real firefight!

I caused 3 discards on the final turn for the super yellow bonus.

Also, Delirium, challenge accepted :)

You can only get your own team’s goals. And the II is restored!

Only the final game counts for bonuses.

Also, please let me know if the rules are unclear:

Either way, the winner reports the result in boldface, including the point differential of the final game. (So if you play only 1 game, report that point differential, but if you play a best of 3, the winner should report only the point differential from the final game, whether that is game 2 or game 3.)

 • and -

We all start in Sector 01 and are battling for the right to use the jump points that warp us to the next sector. Your goal is to get as deep into the sequence of sectors that you can. Every time you win a match, you will discover a ship upgrade and you may use the jump point to move on. Even should you LOSE the game: if your upgrades boost your score so that it exceeds that of your opponent, you may use the jump point, although you will not find an upgrade.

Annie’s ship Patience Peeps has a kind-hearted crew who take after their kind-hearted captain…

The navigator interrupts Annie’s post-battle shower with a message over the intercom: “Lifeboat spotted when Castaway Canary retreated!” She gives the order that the crew knew she would give, and Peeps glides to a stop near the stranded humans.

ankamela is in Sector 02 and her ship Patience Peeps has these upgrades:
o Tractor Beam: (1x) If you lose but your score is within 10 of your opponent, you may use the jump point.
o Lost Colonists: Add 3 to team score.

Then Peeps jumps to Sector 02.

The Perpetual Nuisance damages Patience Peeps and she retreats. Captain Kyle orders a scan of the battlefield, and one of the engineers spots something that might be useful.

They bring it aboard and decide that it is definitely useful!

K_Wattington is in Sector 02 and his ship Perpetual Nuisance has these upgrades:
o Repair Module: (1x) Prevent the destruction of another of your upgrades.
o Scrap Bot: (1x) Swap upgrades with an opponent who you have just defeated.

Before Kyle sends his ship to Sector 02, however, he assembles the science crew and asks them what they wanted to see him about before the battle started. They tell him that they believe that, just beyond the jump point, a slow-moving planetisimal is still within reach, and they urge him to explore its strange signals…

<<< Secrets >>>

Sector 01: Dave’s Garage - Swap any upgrade for one of the starter upgrades.
Sector 02: Black Market - You may sell one of your upgrades for 3 team points.
Sector 03: [ unknown ]
Sector 04: [ unknown ]
Sector 05: [ unknown ]

etc.

If you’d like to use the Sector 01 secret before jumping, let me know!

Thanks Dave! I’ll hold onto my upgrades for now. Onward into the abyss!

SR 14 Team playoffs: Holsten > Bobm

The last turn was lucky for me, needle together with battle blob.
