Delirium, if you’re going to draw that Freighter on every single turn, we should probably move to the “what do we have for the departing contestants, Johnny?” stage. :-/
For my reference, since Star Realms deletes older games from the archive:
up 1-0 over DennyA
Beat Beatrix w/ basic bonus
Beat delirium
Beat fire
Beat robthomasson
Lost to Threag
Starting series with Annie (1 game) and Ron (3)…
Yes, just realized that. Since every one of my opponents has gotten early freighter, I didn’t realize you had gotten two.
@Chronic: I can’t inv you, something wrong ?
Isn’t chronic tankthedog?

delirium over scott and +20 points of damage done in last turn for green goal
First two games were very lopsided, but game 3 was fun!
I think game 3 was decided early, when the pair of cutters were revealed for you to grab. Whoever had that turn was going to have an advantage hard to overcome. I managed to keep up with the damage pace for a while, but was always behind trying to catch up.
The two cutters were a nice start, but around mid-game I was looking at your deck and you had a lot of damage compared to mine and I wondered if I could keep up. I don’t know if it would have made a difference, but if I were in your shoes I would have been racing hard for damage but you were picking up red scrappers. I feel like that game could have broken either way for a while.
The red scrappers might have been a mistake. What I was seeing was I could almost match your damage but not your healing or buying power, so it was an inexorable slide to loss. The red scrappers were an effort to thin the deck and improve the draw, but too little way too late. I don’t think I had a single turn that came close to your best damage turns, and you were healing all the while.
Edit: What I mean is, in each round, your turn produced more net damage to me than mine did to you, because of your healing advantage; and that disparity grew with each round because of your buying advantage.

My early prediction here is that the greens are going to lap the field. They’re all great players, and their team goal is more achievable - it’s not just the targets, but the fact that the very nature of the goal (dealing damage) is the one essential part of the game. You can’t win by just forcing your opponent to discard, or gaining authority, or scrapping starter cards, if you don’t also do damage, and the cards themselves are designed with that fact in mind. So, building a hand that does damage is easier than anything else, and everyone must do it to win. The greens get rewarded for that, but no one else does.
This is not to take away the quality of their play - they’re great players, much better than me - but it does seem likely they’ll have the best upgrades, travel the farthest, be the winning team, and contribute more individual playoff participants. You read it here first!
Agreed. In retrospect, their team goal appears uniquely unbalanced, and I think that’s being shown in the number of times that it’s been hit compared to the other teams’ goals. Not sure what to do about it at this point, but it’s ok; I’m just having fun playing lots of games against everyone.
Spring Break Party Cruise sweeps the Sector for goodies, finding…
o Yellow Jewel: The Yellow team score increases by 1-3-6-10 (etc) based on the total number of Yellow jewels owned by all of the Yellow team members at the end of the adventure.
o Scrap Bot: (1x) Swap upgrades with an opponent who you have just defeated.
delirium is in Sector 03 and his ship Spring Break Party Cruise has these upgrades:
o Boosted Scope: Add 5 authority to your score at the end of your final game of each match.
o Flak Bomb: (1x) After you win, destroy one of your opponent’s upgrades at random.
o Devoted Crew: If you lose a match but your final authority is -5 or greater, jump to the next sector.
Before you jump to Sector 03, delirium, what would you like to do with these two discoveries? Leave them in Sector 02, or swap?

I’ll ditch the Boosted Scope.
Even the Jewel mechanism will compound it. If they hit bonuses more frequently, get upgrades more frequently, they’ll find Jewels more frequently, which will enhance their team score.
I’m having fun playing lots of individual games myself, but am frustrated by the rest of it.
Challenge sent to Craig :)
