I don’t think anything went your way, while my three Cutters kept ganging up for +8 damage routinely. I thought your Blob World tactic was smart, hoping for a Blob chain reaction – that never ignited, sadly. But your best shot at that point, I thought.

Holsten-Knight is in Sector 10 and his ship Heart of Gold II has these upgrades:

In Sector 03, the Red Unicornne’s helmsman, Rocco Yacobucci, sprays his lips with chrome and spits Volatile Fuel into the air intake. Then the ship aims squarely at Castaway Canary and its erstwhile captain, ineffablebob! If I win by 50+, the fuel will let me jump two sectors, and the Hull Beam will tear the Canary to shreds!
