In honor of the World Cup, I would like to try out their group play idea, organizing everyone into groups of four (maybe five, depending on signups) players. Each player will play the others in the group in a three game series. The top two from each group will move on to the elimination round! (This is actually the way I ran the original Ascension league, four years ago, when it started.) To make the groups even, I will cut off the folks at the tail end of these signups, but I’ll be crying when I do it. Sign up right away!
