That’s what happens in a best-of-1 series. She had great luck to pick up a Freighter on Turn 2 with Command Ship in the center row, then somehow never got the cards to fall before I picked it up myself with a bunch of Explorers. Despite this rotten turn of events, she still kept it very close, and I was probably only a turn or two away from losing my 4th straight to her.

Whew, Beatrix and I had some monster hands. I slathered bases all over the place and he kept whaling on them for 20-30 damage a turn with his Blob fleet.

Man, that last game! I had nothing but low-cost shooters and was just trying to run out the clock as fast as I could. I was sure each round that you would finish me.

I had one draw with the chance to win and it was an awful draw, but chances were against me. GG
SR 16 playoffs: ineffablebob > mithrophon
Blob, blob, blob, blob…the green machine just kept popping up for me. Got the mothership early and it just kept on rolling from there. If he’d had time, Mithro had some hefty bases to build around, but there were just too many blobs.
And Dave > Chronic thanks to C not having any banishing cards, I think – he had the Blob army that ineffablebob says he had in his game, but they rarely conjoined because of dumb Scouts.
