The Council has held an emergency meeting to discuss the three-way ties. The following proclamation is their edict:
craiggiarc and robthomasson and ron will play each other in one game, with winners reporting scores. The top two players by wins (with ties broken by overall point differential) go to the playoffs.
Thraeg and Beatrix and Mithrophon will do the same, with winners reporting scores. In this case, only the top player of the three will go to the playoffs as the second seed in their group.
Obviously “The Council” is your wife, because the solution is perfectly sensible.
