I’m up for gambits, but…

Lemme know, folks, if as you play you like my Gambits house rule ideas:

1. No playing both Gambits cards on the same turn.
2. No Gambit cards may be played until after the first shuffle.

I don’t understand the purpose of the house rules and am guaranteed to break both.

To reiterate, I’m down with gambits. And prefer no house rules (at least not yet).

Point differentials are logged as +1 unless folks tell me what they are. They are used to break ties.

For my game against DennyA I claim a 9 point differential. Might have been more but sure it wasn’t less.

A game that proofed, you need no gambit expansion to make SR a sometimes very luck dependent game.

ineffablebob just made the most amazing comeback I’ve ever seen in SR. I think I had him at something like 60 vs 16 life when his deck went to total over-drive.

I thought I was toast about 4 turns earlier, after you picked up Brain World to go with all your life gain. But then I noticed that I was down to only two scouts in my deck and nearly everything else was red or yellow, that led to 20+ attack every turn, including one with four discards. Glad I’ve learned my lesson about not conceding games when they look hopeless!

I played nothing but expansion games since it came out, until my season 12 games started. I gotta say that these vanilla games feel a lot more strategyy. Which is a real word I just invented to indicate that I feel like I must think in a much more stratigiferous manner when making decisions about what card to buy.

Or I just suck at using the expansion game…
