I think The Full Mooners deserve a public group hug. First place in wins as a team, squeaked by Mordoofi in the team finals, and then we go 1/2/3 in the individual playoffs. I will never forget us.

In game 1 vs clyve I feel like the Ellison story “I have no mouth and I must scream”.

The early trade row featured all 3 big blob cards. Even though I had several +trade cards, they always came up with a damage-only card and I never mustered the 6 trade needed to keep clyve from scooping up all 3 blobs. Which he did, of course.

All was not lost - I was able to put together a red/blue deck, about the only hope to withstand the green onslaught and we have reached me 17 (+ 10 pts in bases) - clyve 13.

But I still have no mouth and I must scream again. I count 27 damage in clyve’s draw pile - exactly what he needs to dispose of my 2 bases + 17 authority. He could draw a bunch of scouts and not trigger the cascade of ‘draw 1’ - but he won’t, of course.
