How to tell someone hasn’t watched Voyager in a long time, Lesson 1.
It’s definitely not the worst. Also, I like Tilly and the medical doctor. But Michael and the spore doctor are like fingernails on a chalkboard. (Unless they share a scene with Spock, in which case they’re okay.)
Just wrapped S2. I love Anson Mount with my entire body and dedicate the rest of my life to his service.
Isn’t Pike so lucky to have Spock and Number 1 on his crew though? Can you imagine if Michael was a permanent part of his crew? She’d walk all over him all the time. He really did find a crew that’s the perfect fit for him. He’s too nice.
If Michael ever hurts him again I’ll force her entire beloved family to pretend she never existed for the rest of ti–oh, woops, accidentally did that already.
Have they announced when the next season is coming?

No. I think most people think they’ll announce Discovery release date when Picard ends, or maybe right before that.
Pike makes Kirk look like a douche.

Kirk was kinda a douche. I never understood why people thought he was such a great captain. Picard and Pike are so much more clearly Starfleet flagship captain material.
Few people that disagree with you will ever read that comment.
I mean I know it’s obviously correct but it goes a little far to say that Kirk fans are ILLITERATE Lego, jeeeeze ;-)

I don’t think he’s saying that at all. I think he’s saying they haven’t figured out how to use computers yet.
I just assumed he meant they are all dead of old age.
All reasonable guesses, to be sure, but I merely point out that many of the hardcore fans of the original Star Trek will never read any Discovery or Picard, or even DS-9 thread that we have Qt3.
I mean, imagine if they started reading about how Kirk is probably the weakest of all the Star Trek Captains, how they would feel. Hell, could you imagine how they would react if anyone argued that Captain Janeway was a better Captain then Captain Kirk? It would blow their minds.
That might be pushing things too far.
Emphasis on “might”.
Coming at it from having seen The Original Series last, I really like Kirk. He gets the reputation of being all action and not a thoughtful diplomat, but there’s a lot of episodes that don’t bear that out. They emphasize how he does whatever fits the situation. And the situation in the original series was just a lot worse, in terms of the Enterprise encountering a lot more hostility and things that couldn’t really be reasoned with. But when you have encounters with species like The Klingons and Romulans and others, Kirk does do pretty well in negotiations and outmaneuvering the other side.
Janeway was a worse captain than Jonas Grumby.
We will just have to disagree.
But really, this has got to be one of the most awesome scenes of any Star Trek Captain.
And shows who the greatest Star Trek Captain is currently.
I had to look that one up. Now that I have: Heeeheeee.
