The notorious goatee was only really ever a Spock thing IIRC, right?
(I love how South Park gave it to all MU characters in that one episode.)
Was the Hoff on a TNG episode or something?
Besides, isn’t that called a soul patch?
This was on Knight Rider. He had an evil twin and if I remember right he drove around in an evil talking car.
Three episodes left. It appears to be moving along nicely now. Voq/Tyler may resolve unexpectedly though.
He wasn’t an evil twin, he was the original, Michael was the “copy”. And he didn’t drove around in an evil car, he had a big indestructible truck that didn’t talk. The evil talking car, that was someone else.
Yeah, I loved Knight Rider when I was a kid. :D
I have still to watch the latest episode, but my spider senses tell me is the right moment to post this article:
The mirror version (russian) of the Discovery.
I’m still holding the hope that VoqTyler will end up ushering in the variant of Klingons we see in TOS, which Worf once commented “We do not talk about it” on. They do not talk about it, because it was not honourable. That’d be some awesome retconning.
You mean the more human-looking Klingons from TOS? That would be pretty genius actually.
Man, you and your wife are pretty awesome at guessing/detecting stuff!
Great episode tonight, although the throne room looked kinda Flash Gordon like. I do wonder if they scaled back a bit on production costs?
Ok, the goodbye scene in the mushroom network almost made up for the doctor. And that they did what they did with Lorca is truly awesome. Very eager to see more.
They got klingon subtitles!
Can anybody let me know if this show would be appropriate for my 13 year-old daughter. It would be nice to watch something with her.
I would go with a no. There’s some disturbing imagery especially later on in the season, and they’re not afraid of going extremely violent from time to time.
In general I would say no but that of course does not hold for every 13 yr old. That absolutely depends on the maturity level of your daughter. It’s a dark and violent show and may not be suitable for most children.
She’s pretty mature, I catch her watching family Guy on YouTube which I do not approve of. Maybe I’ll stick with doctor who for a couple more years. Thanks all for the responses.
We watch with our 12 year old son. No problem at all.
Good lord, even with the murdering here and there it’s waaaaaay better than Family Guy for a teen.
If she hasn’t watched any Trek before, though, I’d say go with a selective watching of TNG. You can just watch the really good ones and ignore the drek, which adds up to about two seasons’ worth of episodes.
