Unfortunately (for that quest) there are a couple of terminals all in that area that glow like you can interact with them - but only one of them is really the correct one. I think it’s the one just next to the bridge (which may or may not be marked correctly).

I also don’t know why razgon has issues with his ultimate quests. Try hitting spacebar? Maybe there’s some sort of display driver issue? You certainly don’t have to be level 10 to get off the starter worlds, I’ve almost never been 10 when I completed them.

QFT…

Anybody know when should early access start (non-beta)? A week prior to release or just a few days?

I havent figured it out either… I tried to complete a few other quests on my Sith and suddenly it just worked. I have a suspecion its a flag of some sort that has to be set, that wasn’t set.

Oh well, I think that was it for me in this beta - Has to be some fun left for when I try the real game in a few weeks time :-)

They’ve said early access is up to 5 days prior to the game launch (so I guess no earlier than December 15) depending on when you registered your code.

I asked that in-game today, and a bunch of folks chimed in with “December 15th.” As I heard that in the general chat channel of an MMO, it must be true!

alrighty then, i will plan to get little to quite little done the week of dec 15…

Damn - wanted a few hours before sleep, but servers just went down!

Oh well, it’ll be the 15th-20th soon enough I guess

Test runs until 11:59pm Monday night, eh.

Which server is QT3 planning on starting on?

The two guilds will be assigned to a server, don’t know which one yet.

That was exactly it thanks. Someone finally clued me in 12 hours later. BAD quest design, worse automap update.

Seems to be catching lots of people.

Got my lightsaber and advanced class, when do you get the ship, around 18-20?

I just finished the most frustrating and long and drawn out quest…

-first go back to dark temple on Kaas from alderaan
-then go back to imperial fleet from Dark temple
-then go back to sith temple in kaas city

it’s all talking too. literally you talk to someone and they told you to go somewhere else!

The whole having your own ship isn’t really helping. you have to go through 4 loading screen to get from one planet to another planet. not mentioning you actually have to get back to space port.

the closest flypoint/shuttle in tatooine is about 6 minutes of walking to the spaceport.

I wanted to like this game. I’m no SW fan but I’m down with a new diku. I tried for many fruitless hours over the last two days to like this game but by the end I had nothing but contempt for it. The storylines are spoon-fed pablum where your character has no real choice at all and by the second day I just really really wanted to tell these NPCs to shut the fuck up and give me my quest. I guess if you are really into RPing a Star Wars dude and can suspend disbelief to think you really have any choice what happens next this might work for you. But beyond that, after the talking heads are done you’re dumped out into completely generic MMO gameplay that feels like something released years ago, kinda reminded me of Tabula Rasa in an offhand way. Clearly all the effort went into these voiced stories that for me add absolutely jack shit in terms of MMO enjoyment.

Sorry don’t want to come off as trollish or piss on anyone’s parade but this game just baffles me, for a AAA modern MMO it brings nothing of real gameplay value to the table.

I got bored near the end of the beta so I made this character.

I didn’t think your comments were trollish until maybe this last bit about nothing of rela gameplay value. I am still on the fence about the game, but there is gameplay here and they’re setting up for a pretty clean release compared the recent history of broken releaes that came behind them >>> champions, star trek, dear god FFXIV…

I enjoy playing the game with a group, not as much solo.

I am going to be really disappointed when the beta ends. This game is fantastic. I wanted more KOTOR, and I got it in spades here.

Yeah, thats my feeling as well. Fun story, great voiceacting, and decent MMO workings.

The problem I have with this game, is just because someone is telling me a voice acted story about why I am being sent out to kill 10 foozles, the end result is that I’m still being sent out to kill 10 foozles. Having to sit through dialogue explaining why those foozles are important to kill doesn’t seem to really do anything for me to take it out of the just another bland mmo quest category.

There were so many quests that had some great opportunity for some backstabbing, and some interesting story curve balls. I followed one trying to play as evil as possible, and ended trying to screw over the original quest giver by cooperating with someone else, and ended getting light side points for it…huh?

This game does actually look a lot like Tabula Rasa lol, could have been released at the same time and it wouldn’t have surprised me. I’m surprised at how bland and generic the world in general looks. I understand them going for a kind of cartoony look, but it’s not a cartoony look with any personality too it whatsoever. To me, it’s bland to the point of painful. I’ve never been a big fan of WoW cartoon look, but it least it has some personality too it, and a very consistent personality.

Ah well, I really wanted to love this game, and have been looking forward too it for a long time. After half a day playing the beta, I’m already bored with it. I’ll still get it at release, perhaps the game gets a bit better at higher levels, but right now, it seems pretty uninspiring.

there are a shit ton of kill x amount of foozles quest.

I will get quest like Kill 10 blablabla then when I get to the area, I get a bonus quest of kill X amount of thing attach to the original quest…

There are also bonus stage quest which plays out exactly the same, kill this, then that, at end of the bonus quest you kill a gold elite… and then turn stuff into the dropbox.

Class story isn’t too bad. Shocking people as an inquisitor is pretty fun.
