Man, the changing of your password crap is so annoying. I changed mine less than two weeks ago after the first email, and now I have to do it again? And of course the website has a queue, and every submission gets a 400 Bad Request error. At the moment I have no idea whether the last thing I sent–my new password–actually took. I realize they’re getting the kinks out before launch, but really, this is a PITA.

Looks like they’re going to do another beta test round. My wife (who has only been in the two prior weekend tests) just got another invite for a test starting on December 2 at 1pm CST. The email doesn’t mention an end date, so it may go for the remainder of the beta test.

Details:

This is our final test before launch! We have invited a smaller number of testers than in our previous Beta Testing Weekend to assist us in testing a new build of the game. If you participated in the last Beta Testing Weekend, check your e-mail to see if you’ve been invited. All you need to do is open the launcher and begin patching – you’ll be able to play at the time stated in the e-mail you received.

Who was invited: Selected testers that participated in the previous Beta Testing Weekend
What was sent: Final Beta Testing Weekend invitations
Server locations: US East Coast, US West Cost, and EU servers
Invite status: We have begun sending invitations. Check your e-mail to see if you have been invited and for instructions!

It’s still missing an end date, but they are calling it a Weekend test group again, so that probably means Sunday or Monday.

I just got my email inviting me to the same test. I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist taking advantage of it, though I think I’ll try another class if I do play. I don’t want to spoil anymore of my main class’s story.

Yeah, I’m in as well. Kind of cool since I’m getting my new PC put together, but a bummer since I’m also getting Skyrim.

Though, like Steve, I’m not entirely sure how much more I want to play pre-launch.

Also got in, also not sure how much more I want to play pre-launch. Assuming characters from last weekend carry over, I’ll probably at least do the second flashpoint on my level 18 Powertech.

I wish I’d get invited. I’m reviewing the game and the line I received was that they won’t be doing another beta for several weeks, aka they don’t want me to play :(

I figure it is 14 days until I get to play for real…(assuming no date changes) so I don’t want to spoil more than I have already.

They’ll wipe it before retail, so it’s all temporary until December 15th. I can wait.

It didn’t really bother me, but SWTOR does have a lot of these quests, which I really can’t do anymore without thinking about that comic strip.
