Thankfully, the dickwolves of Ossus were wiped out two thousand years before the era in which Old Republic takes place.

No email =(

several folk asked where settings were

that is where it all is, you can manually add AA to the client settings ini to get it to load with AA on (or hard set your graphics to do it for you)

That said with AA on the graphics are nice. Current load has some very pretty textures, can see the carving in the stone on the bridges on Tython for example. Smoother build overall this time too tired to put too much effort in at the moment.

I, too, did not get an email. Why do the gods conspire against me so!?

Because they’re mean.

Was enabling this from within the game still disabled even this last beta weekend?

They are. :( Very mean :(

Why are you empty, inbox? Why?!

Good times :-)

Regarding settings folder:
I did not find any keybindings there, but it looks like I can at least copy some of the layout (chat windows, colours).

I also got into the final testing weekend. I plan to split time between my bounty hunter and agent, in an attempt to figure out which one to play as my main when early access begins.

I really need to get back to LOTRO (and finish Skyrim)… but the new girl is always the prettiest.

Report back on item modifications if you would. There’s a lot of buzz on the forums about how the last build annihilated customization possibilities to the effect of not being allowed to continually improve your first good saber or blaster to 50 by changing out all 4 of its mods with superior ones. That the number of mod slots that items have have generally been reduced across the board as well.

Considering the usual intelligence level of the TOR forums, I’m not too worried, but I’d like to see what they actually changed.

Unless your item level up with you, but weapon have a min-max damage that isn’t affected by item mod, so your level 10 blue even with best mod will still do pitiful damage.

Thats horrible. That means if you are a special person that can do amazings things, the game steal from you this capability and force you into mediocity, to be not better than the best minmaxer. Is like a builtin mindpolice that make sure to lobotomice everyone thats not mediocre.

Not true as of last build at least. Weapon damage scaled with the rating of mods you placed in them. The patch notes that others are freaking about are more to do with artifact quality items being reduced to only having 2 possible mod slots making blues better than them, or something to that effect.

Check your PM.

the whole weapon customization is cool, but half the class in the game use lightsaber, they all look the same without close examination. the only difference is the color.

Unless they come out with some cool looking lightsaber, there really isn’t any need to keep low level weapons.

P.S.

before anyone point out that jedi can use other non-light saber weaponry, most of their class skills require particular type of light saber else you can’t use it, I brought a double vibrosword or something, I can equip it but I couldn’t use any of my skills as Sith assassin.

This is my experience with the current build as well. I actually was able to bring my original lightsaber back out of retirement because I got a few new mods. I had to replace it with a green-quality lightsaber for a while because it had better numbers without mods.

Now that would make a great name for a guild. Or perhaps a garage band ;)

I suffer severe SWTOR withdrawal. I am really anxious to see how the stories unfold, I unexpectedly even liked the Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter stories, that was not the plan. So many choices now. This game will probably keep me busy a while once it is out. I caved in and preordered the collectors edition too. I am curious what that in game shop will offer.

I didn’t get in this time. Rats.

I really enjoyed the Agent storyline, too. Very cool character, and the lightside/darkside choices were interesting.
