July 21st was the first day preorders went up.

Oh, damn. So I’m absent minded in an efficient way then.

You should have written 21st of september, and seen the forum explode!

Another wave went out, apparently this is a bonus wave that I’m still not a part of.

Yeah, it’s a bit disturbing that our West Coast server is full at 9am on a weekday. Hate to see what it’s like tonight.

They’ll be adding more servers this week.

You’re making me even more disgusted that I didn’t call in sick today.

I preordered on July 21st and apparently didn’t enter the code until November 26th. What the hell is wrong with me?

:-P

I was admitted in the latest batch. I registered my pre-order code on July 25.

Cool, so there’s still hope! Mine was on the 28th. I’m positive I’ll be in tomorrow, but would rather have tonight to play since I’m recording a podcast tomorrow night.

I didn’t pre-order until September, so I imagine I will have to wait until the 15th at least.

I do hope that I don’t have to wait any later than that, since early access was one of the main reasons I pre-ordered to begin with.

Apologies for not keeping up with this thread since the beta started opening up: Do people have a sense yet on whether or not this game is really feeling like a KOTOR 3+? Or does it feel more like a standard MMO set in the KOTOR universe instead?

Maybe that question is best answered after the game’s release next week though. But I haven’t been keeping up, so I thought maybe beta access already let people in on a lot of the content.

Much more like a KotOR 3 with some MMO elements than vice versa, I think. The grinding didn’t really seem like it was there to me in the Thanksgiving weekend I played it (though admittedly I only got to level 15 or so with two characters) and the conversations and cooperative missions were a lot of fun. If you liked KotOR and you can stand some WoW-esque tropes leaking into it, I’d say you’re good to go for a few months at least.

I agree with Black Isis. It feels a lot like KOTOR 3 with some extra MMO stuff added on.

How does that work? Are not all guild servers online? If they are already noted as full and the majority of guilded people aren’t in yet…

Queues for the website was an omen. Should cancel that pre-order before it’s too late.

I need to stop checking my email.

All of the guilds that were created before the deadline a couple of weeks ago are on servers that were up today. I’m just saying, it’s not a lifetime commitment. Your guild could see that the server was full and decide to go somewhere else.

Also, I’m not sure full really means full on that server list. When I joined beta there was only one server that wasn’t full and I kept getting errors trying to connect to it. I picked a full server and had absolutely no problems and no lag the entire time. They might just be trying to funnel new users who don’t have a preference to the newest of the new servers.

Any word on how/if its allowed, server transfers for characters and guild?

Server transfer stuff has not been announced yet.
