I am with everyone else. No way is Bioware going to or should they roll out a whole bunch of servers to accomadate the initial rush. By the second week in January, this two week pre-release/release period will be forgotten and things will have settled down.
Is there anyway to tell how many people are on a server? Is it completely dependent on the company’s plan? Is there some kind of standard? I am, obviously, clueless as to how these things work. I think it would be interesting to know what percentage of a server’s total population that a 500 person queue represents.
For all of you keeping score, you will be happy to know that my sick kid no longer has a fever, but still has to stay home as she has to be fever free for 24 hours. So I will be home for 6 hours with Spongebob on in the background that I will not notice because I will be zoned out. She will have to shake me to get some lunch. Also, the meeting I was supposed to go to today was postponed. This Day of SWTOR is dependent on me getting in on the 1st or 2nd wave.
Yay for anticipation. Now don’t suck.
EDIT: Per Reddit
10 New servers added last night:
East Coast PvE - The Corsair
East Coast RP-PvP - Ven Zallow
EU PvP (German) - The Krath Enchanter
EU PvE (German) - Darth Andeddu
EU PvP (English) - Uthar Wynn

Stephen Just confirmed that people that registered as late as yesterday will be in today That would have to be the case as they are pretty much calling this launch day
So my box gets shipped out at 9:03pm last night and is out for delivery this morning. Amazon shipping is awesome. They must have copies of SWTOR sprinkled liberally at distribution centers all over the US. Mine was coming from Chattanooga to Birmingham.
