I wouldn’t worry about the grenades being nerfed. There are a number of abilities you get that feel really overpowered. What tends to happen is that they grow stronger just a wee bit slower than the mobs do, so after a while they move from incredibly overpowered to almost overpowered (the prime example of this, of course, is Death from Above for BH).

Also on a somewhat unrelated note: The Harbinger has a 400 person queue at 5 PM today. Fun!

I was just coming in to comment about the harbinger. A west coast server with forty minute queues at 5pm eastern.

Think I will play on a quieter eastern server until the queues are less.

Most of the EU servers seem to have them. I picked one without, apparently because no major guilds were assigned to it, go figure.

Razgon - Eve. But it’s VERY atypical.

O.k., started an Imperial Agent on a RP server. Imperial cinematic much better than the game’s opening flick.

Bit disoriented at first – is there any way to set the controls to mouselook, or do you have to hold down the mouse button to look around? Also died immediately after killing 2 guys and then advancing to their position to attack 3 others, only for them to respawn on top of me and join in - they were only gone for about 15 seconds, geez. 1st outdoor environment looks quite nice though - better than I expected, and more detailed than in the Mass Effect games.

gah, 800 ish queue on Harbinger right now.

Thankfully my kid just got home and turned on my computer - she can play until I get home…hopefully avoiding a wait all together.

Ugh, I have been on Harbinger for 5 hours. Not a single hiccup. I guess I need to stay logged in.

So I went into this game sort of blindly, since I didn’t follow it too much before release - I didn’t really know what each of the classes were about, what locations are available, etc.

So I’m pleasantly surprised how fun the Imperial Agent is. Like picking the Sith choice with the guy who ran away with his son… oh man, priceless.

I’m going to find a non Que’d server this weekend to try a bunch of different classes…then pick one and join the NAVY and never look back.

I wonder how long the afk disconnect timer is.

Its not long lol

I was able to sit on the character select screen for a good 15-30 minutes…but I waited a little too long, got disconnected, and now stuck in an hour long queue. :(

Rakatan Mind Prison (west coast PVP server) hasn’t had a queue yet, as far as I know.

Well shit…I got home, kid had a friend over-she made a toon- no problem. Then wife was gonna take her home and as I am yelling to my kid and her friend, DON’T LOG OFF!!! she comes out of my office and says, “did you say not to log off?”

I am now 1195 in the queue.

On the plus side, I got my retail game, it took my retail code no problem and I was able to upgrade to the digital upgrade pack…I am sure it is lame but I am silly that way about extra in game items.

For 19.99 you get:

Flare Gun
Training Droid
HoloDancer
HoloCam
STAP In-Game Vehicle

I have heard that getting your first vehicle is not all that hard money wise, but hey now I don’t have to pay fake money for one because I paid real money for one. Hmm…seems a bit backwards to me.

I wish I understood the purpose of the HoloCam. It just seems like a macro for switching to first person, hiding the UI, and taking a screenshot. Oh well.

I’ve let it run at least 10 minutes with crafting only. Not sure if that counts as totally AFK or not. The tier 3 crafting takes 20 minutes, so I suppose at some point they’ve got to count you as not active and log you out, even if crew members are crafting.

Man, as others have. Noted, the Imperial Agent storyline is just fantastic. I am blown away by how much I’m enjoying a story in an MMO, of all things.

What is the purpose of amazon launch day delivery again? I just got a tracking notice saying my game wouldn’t be here until the 19th even though a day ago amazon sent me one saying the delivery would be on the 16th, as per release day delivery?

Can i get my $0.99 back or something just to spite them?

After 15 minutes, still in queue with 1200 people ahead of me. Thank you bioware, great launch.

Maybe they can have a smartphone app to start the login process so 2 hours before i leave work i can call home and try to login so by the time i get home, i can play.

Becoming extremely tempted to use some macro program to keep my character active in game 24/7 so i never log out even while not there.

Nice after waiting over an hour the queue is down to around 60% left. I am never logging out again until my month is up.

You realize that the number only goes down when someone logs off? So if everyone does what you are thinking, no one else ever gets to play on that server…
