Okay that makes sense, but what does that mean in game terms? If it’s shielded does that mean it’s immune to damage? Resistant to guns? Vulnerable to missiles?

You have to pay to upgrade the cargo bay i think. It unlocked more potential cargo bay slots from what i remember.

Have we discussed or have you all read Rockjaw’s post regarding queues? I’ll just quote the whole thing. Posted yesterday at 3:21PM.

As many of you know, we’re experiencing high load and corresponding queues on some servers.

This is to be expected during launch, as a high number of people want to play the game, and for long stretches at a time.

We’re monitoring all of our servers around the clock, and we’re raising server population caps where required. However, to ensure our long-term goals of server stability and healthy populations, we do not want to raise population caps too rapidly. We want incoming players to populate lower population servers. At the same time, higher population servers will not be ‘locked’ because we want to allow people to join a server to play with their friends if they wish to.

With this in mind, we wanted to notify everyone of some consistently high population servers.

These servers are closing in on their absolute population cap (the maximum amount of players who can be on the server at any given time) and will likely have a queue to enter even at off-peak play times.

We strongly advise you to not create new characters on these servers, unless you are prepared to queue to play.

Many of you who are already playing on these servers are asking for solutions, and we understand your frustration. At this time we can only ask for your patience. Population caps are being gradually raised on these servers, but raising them too fast will create an influx of new players and perpetuate the problem. We do not expect the queues to alleviate on these servers for the foreseeable future. If you do not want to queue, you should consider playing on another server, many of which have very low or no queues.

Character transfer is a common request for these servers. The ability to transfer your characters is being worked on, but there is no ETA on when it will be available.

Finally, we are also aware of the issues some have experienced where they have been disconnected during a queue due to internet issues, and had to restart their queue once more.

This is a high priority for our server team and we’ll be deploying a fix as soon as possible.

I hit Dark II, my character now has glowy lizard eyes and dark makeup. Quite a big change from Dark I.

Female trooper is voiced by FemShep! I can’t stop giggling…

Nice, Threevil is on a specific warned-about server.

The queues are manageable for me now. If I can plan on logging in 30 minutes ahead of time when I have something else to do before I play, I won’t notice it. COme home and login then eat dinner and I am good to go. Or, I can squeeze in 20 or 30 minutes to speak with the kids before losing myself to the game for the next 4-5 hours. ;)

Do all crafting recipes have potential blue/purple plans that you can get by deconstructing them? Such as barrel mods?

Ok, the bought diplomacy mission certainly seem worth it. As long as they don’t fail, they seem to always give the epic medical supplies which are VERY hard to get.

This has allowed me to easily make the next grade of reusable stims.

Nar shadda missions do seem to give a lot of credits, which is good since i just spent a TON of money on crafting. I just can’t help myself, when i get a new recipe, i just want to make the epic version.

This alone shows they have no foresight. I cancelled my sub after I saw that post and unless they resolve the issue soon, I won’t re-up.

It was all that voiceover recording preventing them from implementing server transfers.

Since there are plenty of servers with no queue, so there must be others. Just sayin’

The Android version of the authenticator is out now. Link. I’m now trying to decide if I want to switch from my keyfob to my phone.

Did ibdoomed ever log into the game, and if so, can I have his stuff?

You show 'em!

A few more:

Is it worth reverse engineering found weapons in the world (as a weapon crafter). Do these yield blueprints as well?

And what is the deal with starship fuel? Starship missions say they take fuel, but I don’t see any indication of how much I have left or how to acquire it…

Is there any way to access the galactic market without having to fly back to Corouscant?

I think fuel is just a cost in credits to travel with your starship, just like using a taxi/speeder when you’re on a planet.

You can also access the market from your faction’s fleet. As far as I know, though, Coruscant is the only planet with an AH.

They can yield being able to make a slightly better (blue instead of green, for example) version of that weapon.

The starship fuel is abstracted by you paying credits to fly there, that’s why there’s a credit cost next to the fuel thing there.

It’s also in the fleet location.

Each time you travel you pay x amount of credits which is your “fuel”.

There are other market kiosks. Nar Shaddaa has one, as do Alderaan and Tatooine. (I think) but you can’t access it from your ship, unfortunately.

Someone in guild chat a few nights ago was mentioning that the market on Nar Shaddaa (and I also assume the one on Tatooine) is run by the Hutts and is accessible by both factions, just like the neutral goblin AH in WoW.
