They do rather thoughtfully give you a bit of time before the fight starts to get out of conversation mode and get your head into combat mode. I think there’s between 5-10 seconds before the bad guys attack you.

Yep. I loves me some pausable RPG combat. I really need 10-15 seconds. ;)

I tried to log in this evening but was told I do not have a current account. But when I log onto the web site, it tells me I have 27 days left. What in the world gives? I was planning on getting a 60-day time card, but it seems to want it BEFORE my 30 days are even up! If that’s the case, it pretty much throws out the idea of 30 free days up front.

You need to have an “active subscription” which means having a credit card on file or some game time registered. If you put in your 60 card card, you should have 87 days or whatever to go.

Wow this forcing me to put account info on file before my free time runs out really makes me pause about getting the game. I was going to get it and basically play it as a single player rpg for a couple months, but I don’t like this behavior by them. You shouldn’t have to put in a payment method for free time, only if you want to continue playing after that time is done.

Yeah, they all want the CC info. I think in many cases you may be able to put it in and then cancel the next day, and still get all your allotted time.

Seems the queues have eased up dramatically. Maybe the grace period ending and requiring an actual capacity to PAY to play drove a bunch of people away (either that or their disastrously horribly broken website which actively tries to prevent you from subscribing…)

You can reverse the blue ones and make purple ones that have unlimited uses.

At least for Artificing Augment slots come from hitting criticals on Purple gear.

Maybe setup some basic details, but not register a working payment method.Validating that you have a valid credit card != agrement for a montly payment, and configuring one so if you will billed even if stoped playing.
But I can be wrong.

Anyway Game Companies have a excellent track record protecting his databases, so theres ABSOLUTE NO FEAR of it being hacked.

A tip for Republic Players. There’s a very annoying quest called IIRC something like Raise the Spears – you’re supposed to kill enemies around 3 different Spire-like bases. It’s a pain in the neck, since the refresh rate is way, way too low. The only way to finish this quest is either to get lucky or sit and wait 5 minutes for respawn.

Anyway it turns out completing this quest leads to a long and interesting quest chain. I originally skipped it because I got sick of waiting for respawns. Now I’m very glad I did it.

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever managed to get one on a green or blue, but I have on a few purples. I wonder if the odds are higher on Purple?
