I’ve seen SWtOR ads all over the place - even on local buses and shit here in Denmark.
Not something you see for just any game :)

I’ve seen a lot of Internet banner ads for Origin/SWTOR. I’m sure that’s in part because I’ve been visiting websites talking about SWTOR. But why definitely do have at least some type of Internet ad campaign going. OTOH the banner is always the same one, and it’s rather dull.
It’s already been pointed out, but I want to drive this home a bit: Kira is supposed to outdamage you, by far. In fact, if that is ever not the case (except for short bursts when using some cooldowns), then you’ve let her gear lapse, and in doing so you’ve gimped your abilities – because she is your main DPS. I use Synthweaving to keep her armor as good as I can make it within reason (blues all around, usually “Overkill” +willpower stuff), and I make sure she has the best commendation saber/hilt+mods available at our level.
In world PvP, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been jumped 1on1. So far (thankfully) people tend to ignore Kira, which is a huge mistake. Usually it ends up with my companion fighting theirs, while they try to damage my guardian. By the time the guardian’s main armor cooldowns are finished, Kira has already killed their companion – with them following shortly after. BH is the only thing I’ve had trouble with so far; usually, it’s not even close.

Crafting especially synthweaving.
I wouldn’t spend too much time trying for recipes till you are in the low 30s. At that point leveling is slowing down enough that it becomes worth it to upgrade your gear. Still frustrating that it’s random when and what you get for REing. I would much prefer break down 5 get a random prefix upgrade, another 5 get one you don’t know etc.
Like most physical classes in mmo juggernaut/guardian is hugely gear dependent.

That is weird. I have had the Generic one for nearly 2 years now and it is still working like a champ. The build quality feels pretty good to me actually.
As an anecdote, my WoW guild is still at or near peak players online. When my wife said we were playing Star Wars, more than one person asked, “what’s that?” Blew my mind.
I had the same issue with the double click on one of the the buttons. Its sad because its just an over-ambitious debounce timer that should have been fixed in their firmware ages ago. Other than that the build quality was great.
I never liked the number buttons though. They seemed to interfere with mouse precision when pressing them. I prefer a standard Logitec mouse with a Belkin n52te.
Tanking in this game is broken. As in, it doesn’t work. I’m a level 28 JK, so maybe things get better later. But a 15s cooldown on Taunt sucks. My abilities alone do not generate enough threat, despite a 1.5x multiplier. I only have 1 AE with a long cooldown. On large pulls (4+) I’m lucky if I can maintain control of 3 - usually only 1 or 2. Forget anymore.
The lack of Target of Target makes it hard to know when I’ve lost aggro, and you can’t click on a mob’s name / health bar to target them, you have to click on their body.
Also, it takes way too long to kill HEROIC mobs. As in, I get bored mashing the same buttons over and over and over before the stupid thing finally dies.
I think you get an AE taunt eventually.
32 Juggernaut here, and I don’t at all have those problems. Well, the threat ones anyway. No target of target does totally blow ass.

Yup, JK get an AOE taunt in a couple more levels in addition to another PBAOE attack.
35 Juggernaut here and never had these problems.
In a bad group with 2 dpsers (hopefully you have a healer) attacking two different elites HARD it can be difficult, if not impossible to keep everything on you, but that is true of any mmorpg.
I mainly just charge in and smash to get initial agro. Then i hit each thing a one time or two so they don’t immediately go after the healer. By now one of the melee dps has probably taken agro on an elite for a second, but that is generally ok as long as it isn’t for too long. If something tries to go after a ranged dps, i taunt it immediately though.
It would be a bit easier with a target of target i guess, but it is mostly pretty obvious when something is attacking someone else. A lot of this should be pretty obvious with some decent situation awareness. If you see someone getting killed on the party bars, you likely want to check it out. If you see blaster bolts going over your head and hitting your healer, you likely want to check that out. If you see Darth Owner running by you towards your friendly operative (my favorite healing class both as a tank and as an operative), you likely want to check it out. Pretty much whenever i see something running past me, it is an automatic reaction to taunt it.
The only time i really have problems and need to use my aoe taunt is when someone else insists on pulling (generally with CC). At this point i can’t freely smash to get initial agro because there is a damned CC’ed jedi in the middle of the pack and most of the time the mêlée has split off from the ranged, making it even harder to get the group all on me.
Even after getting the cleave type attack, i don’t use it much. The damage seems way too low for such a high rage cost. In most cases i would rather just use a single target attack. Groups shouldn’t be dpsing 3 things at once and solo… My motto has always been that 3 half dead Space Elves In Bikinis do as much damage as 3 full health Space Elves In Bikinis.
This, a thousand times this. I’ve had to teach CCers to hit it after I smash. It’s counterintuitive to WoW players, but it makes Juggernaut tanking a whole lot simpler.
Ha ha ha, ok here’s a big fat ugly bug. Selected an alt I ad made right at the beginning, lvl 3. His pictures displayed. Delete, confirm delete. What he didn’t delete, the guy above him deleted. My screen doesn’t change at all, his image stays from before I deleted to after so he was definitely the one I had selected. Yet it was my main that deleted, the one that was definitely not highlighted!
Grarg. Hoping they can restore him, but these UI/display bugs are now officially getting to me.
Please put in a quest to earn the title Senator, oh please oh please oh please

That is awesome.
Also, the Sith Warrior story goes into overdrive at the end of Act I. It’s freaking awesome.

I’m playing a lawful good Sith warrior! I can’t even use a red crystal in my lightsabre anymore! But I’m really digging the storyline, even if I keep picking the"wrong" answers.
I’m having a few issues with the Smuggler storyline (very minor/vague spoilers follow):
On two separate occasions, I pulled off a major heist that earned my character the reputation as being the best smuggler/thief/treasure hunter in the galaxy, but neither time did I receive any in-game rewards. The NPCs keep telling me that if I complete this job I’ll be rich beyond my wildest imagination, but when I actually do finish the job, I don’t receive any credits or loot or anything beyond a standard quest reward. It’s really disappointing. :(
