sorry if this was covered previously but apparently high-rez textures aren’t being used? http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=140954

I got 12 medals in one warzone… it’s insane.
One thing I found out was that I was wasting lots of money buying ever crafting recipe when it became available. I stopped that and now only buy the few items I either 1) want to use for me or my companions, or to sell, or 2) that I will use to level up. You don’t really need all those recipes, the vast majority of which are for items no one will ever use. And if you do find you need one, you can buy it later anyhow. Saved me a ton of credits.
Also, and I’m sure everyone knows this, keep an eye on the mission costs when you send your companions out. I’ve found myself all too easily pissing away tens of thousands of credits mindlessly sending out a companion to get crappy gifts or something at 1200 a pop.
Do you normally buy all the patterns at each level of cybertech? If so, I think you’re crazy!
Training at 36 would be, I would guess, around 8-10K per skill, which would be maybe 3 or 4 at most, so I am betting you spent most of it on cybertech patterns.
I havent’ had any money issues, but I knew I’d need the speeder training at 25, so at 20 I stopped spending money on anything. So I think I had around 60 or 70K when I needed 25. Now at level 40 I have around 300k - though to be honest I do have slicing and I power-sliced about 70k before the nerf. So if you back that out I would have 230K (and I haven’t picked up my level 40 speeder training, which is 210k). I have also been leveling Cybertech (currently around 360) but I only buy one or two patterns per level (and I usually scoop up some older ones too, so I don’t need too many lower level patterns.

I blew through 100k going from 340 to 370 diplomacy.
I really don’t understand how any of crafting or diplomacy works. What’s the best site out there that’ll give some solid pointers to a knucklehead like me?

Buying a purple investigation mission on the GTN (galactic trade network) and letting Torian do it because he has most inv skill and he fails !!
And to make things worse, he says he did well!
Where’s the flogging option when you need it.
I’m planning on starting to play this really soon and I’d like to know if there’s a specific server in which the Qt3 folks are playing and also if there are Qt3 guilds to join? I know this has probably been covered already but I couldn’t find it with a quick search…
The Harbinger server is where most of the Qt3 people are on, there is 1 guild on each side which have their own thread here.
Did I mention how awesome it is that you can’t add a friend without them being online?

The UI leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like I can’t customize anything, and when one of windows winds up covering something I need to see… can’t move it either. I’ve got my theories, but for now its just a pain to use.

Don’t forget chat disconnecting and missing messages when transferring between ship and worlds.

Never played evil before but I am enjoying it so far. Sometimes I feel genuinely bad, but the min maxer in me can’t pass up the opportunity for more dark side points.
But then I get a choice like this and all is forgiven:
3. Idiot. [Shock him]
I need to hurry up and get off of Voss. Two minutes after I landed someone said “Like a Voss” in general chat so now I’m on verse 500 of the song I’ve been singing since then.

so bioware hates fat people.
there are some datacrons that you can’t get if you choose the large body size…
Heck I’ve only been able to find one datacron. I’ve seen 3 others, but stopped trying to figure out how to get to them after a couple of hours.
