I’ve applied as well. I figure Sith will be a glut, so I’m throwing my lot in with the Republic. I haven’t made a firm decision about the class I’ll play, but I may start out as a smuggler.

Cross-faction characters are allowed on the same server, so in practice a lot of us will probably join both guilds. It’s probably silly to try to “enhance beta chances,” but I figure moderate size (25-50) and Joe’s status are probably about as the best way to do that.

This business of “inviting guilds” might just refer to their recruitment of successful guilds from other MMOs, though, something which I gather many MMOs do during beta.

That’s where I’m hanging out mostly. I’ve also joined a small guild of good roleplayers on the side.

As I went to approve everyone into the TRN, I noticed that I’m labeled as undecided with everyone else either being Jedi Knights or Smugglers. I was planning on being a Knight myself, but now my instincts are telling me to fill in the gap with a Trooper.

Oh, the agony of indecision! If only I had more time to decide, like two or three months!

It would be… usefull… to know if both factions are well developed. I would hate to get one faction, only to learn the other faction has better storylines.
