New class video for the Consular is up. Maybe I’ll be one of them instead of a Trooper. Or maybe I’ll go back and forth a few dozen more times.

TBH the video - notably the climactic AOE business at the end - didn’t do much for me. The WoW-style shoulder-pads - even though on close examination they appeared to be some sort of insubstantial fronds - also seemed like a terrible idea. If there’s one thing I hope doesn’t get focus-grouped into SWTOR it’s goddamned WoW shoulderpads.

This looks like a jedi. I like it.

The spell that summon a chunk of metal from the ground, and launch to enemies will look somewhat weird wen you use it in a spaceship.

He looks like a angry mandalore jedi.

Also seems that I must watch episode 3 again.

The AOE stuff was in there to demonstrate the various support abilities available more than anything else.

I agree about the shoulderpads, but I’m holding judgment until I see the armor progression video for the Consular. I’m still really wanting to play this so I can get a feel for what class I want to play.

I like most of what I’ve seen of armor in SWTOR, which is partly why I parsed it as “not wanting to see it focus grouped in.” There are a lot of 18-24 who presumably associate cubic-meter-sized shoulders with heroic video game characters.

I thought the speculation was Tom Kane (who’s enough of a mimic that it’s hard to disprove?)

I never played the Uncharted games so maybe it’s really obvious that it’s North?

Well, 10 of the 16 possible ACs are ranged attackers. It does sometimes seem like they film the trailer/demonstration combat on “ez-mode” compared to other gameplay footage.
