Heh, so two of my beta accounts got into the 1 month marketing test (which ended 2 weeks ago), and now I just got an email that a third account just got into the real beta. I guess bioware really likes me.

Moral to the story: sign up to betas with multiple accounts, kids.

Ben - there were plenty of people dropping hints earlier in the thread that it was great fun. If it’s true, then it’s a crying shame that they’re releasing such dismal videos. Given the money they’ve thrown at this I’m sure they know the value of good marketing, and that extends to events like Gamescom.

Nope, I’m not. Signed up to a guild on another board, but that guild didn’t get in either (it was a different SWTOR beta account).

Funny thing is, I don’t even plan to play much, as the game is coming out soon and I don’t want to spoil it. I already played through all the starter worlds in the last beta phase.

I have to say, Total Biscuits video on this did far more to get me interested than the videos that EA is putting out. I don’t remember another game that has had me on the fence as much as this one.

Since we may have quite a few new folks getting into beta, I would be up for creating a new character to group up, I think I still have 1 or 2 classes I haven’t played beyond level 10.
