I agree on this one. Standard difficulty was pretty dull for me, but dread bumps up the difficulty to where bad decisions are actually punished.
already your favorite, probably.
I never exiled anyone. I would just bring them on a little expendable run. As in I would recruit them as an AI follower and let a horde or special murder them, usually while I take out a plague heart. They’re still useful as zombie food and fall guy to make it easier to complete an objective. After they go down I’m booking it in a car leaving them to their grim fate.
Having someone died will impose a morale penalty on the community for a while, so usually for those useless people I just send them to legacy pool and then delete them. So much more humane than letting them be zombie food. Just write them out of existence!
Yeah, but if you’re really annoyed at them, you have to walk up to them and tell them to their face to GTFO. That lady was PISSED to be sent off into the zombie apocalypse on her own - probably because I stripped her weapons off her before she left. She still had a screwdriver, maybe she learned something from all the stealth kills I walked her through. I’m sure she’ll be fin!
That’s fine. I run one of those cutthroat survival of the fittest raider style camps. So I don’t really care about morale. New recruits always have to survive a plague heart raid, and then I make them return on foot while I drive away. If they make it back to camp, they’re in. If they die, they die.
I’ll be sure to steer clear of y’all when the zombie apocalypse comes.
I don’t play this game but I saw this yesterday and got kicked right in the feels.
Probably no great surprise, but State of Decay 2 is riding into the sunset.
