If you somehow happen to be truthful, yet in the pay of Agribusiness, and miraculously engaged in the same activity as the shills and sock puppets, the onus is on you to prove your reliability. Guilt by association is not always an incorrect assumption either. For example, in this case, where it turns out that she does not have significant credentials, and takes money from Agribusiness to advance their interests, her similarity to shills and sock puppets may come, not from the fact that she is falsely associated with them, but because she is accurately identified as one of their number.

If guilt by association were always wrong, then there would be no such thing as group criminality. There is, so your logical fallacy in this case is itself a fallacy.
