i switched out my hard drives and reinstalled almost everything. i tried to get onto the internet but for some reason my modem can’t connect to either earthlink or peoplepc. no antivirus or firewalls up. i called up earthlink twice and twice they asked if my firewall was up since that might cause problems. i didn’t, and they were stumped on the problem. eventually i tried to connect with the firewall. needless to say, everything then ran flawlessly. ARGHH!
now to uninstall some of the 30 days free internet service crap i put o my nice clean computer…
