I’m assuming the numbers are bullshit far-right alt-math. That was part of my joke really…

This is making the rounds in email chain letters from family. I’ve repeatedly told to take me off their fucking chain letter contact list, but it’s silly of me to assume they aren’t just sending this to every single contact in their contact list, with no pruning or selection being made beforehand. I’ve already got most of their emails being filtered into the trash, but I always check my trash just in case something important ends up there. But today it was just trash. This trash:

kerzain, this was sent to me.

Ok in a nutshell. This is going to the Supreme Court. Where they will rule that the election is invalid due to fraud or mistakes on a country wide scale.

It will go one of two ways, either they will rule that all the unconstitutional mail in ballots will be removed and the states ordered to recount without them or they will simply rule the election is invalid due to mass voter fraud and at that point it will be sent to the congress and senate for a vote.

This is where it gets good. The house/congress votes on who the President will be. It has nothing to do with what party that has power. Every State gets one vote and 30 States are held by Republicans and 19 by Democrats. They have to vote down party lines, they have no choice due to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution and the Senate votes for the Vice President where a similar event will take place.

This is The law.

This is why the Democrats are so mad at Nancy Pelosi. This will all happen in January. The only way President Trump won’t be President is if he concedes the election and that will never happen.

So stop watching the fake news and don’t let your heart be troubled and live your life knowing this will all work out.

President Trump will remain President.

I have researched all of this and it is Fact!

Another fun fact, they called Gore the President Elect for 30 days in 2000 until the courts ruled against him and declared Bush the winner.

And two people that were part of that decision was none other that new Supreme Court Justices, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Why do you think the Democrats tried so hard to keep them from being confirmed?

Here’s a way we can participate. Send this text to all republicans!!

Send this to everyone you know that is troubled about this dishonest election!

** Important: Send this to Republicans only and people who voted for Trump.**

We’ve heard all this garbage thinking before in a couple other threads here. None of this is news to me.

Well I guess they’re in for an awful surprise. Trump will lose a second time!

The “constitutional lawyer” is a city councilman from Marysville, OH. He’s a former Honda engineer.

I am pretty ok with the Trumpies getting disappointed all over again.

I would still prefer that it be over though.

But… but… he spelled fact with a capital F!

Is it possible to turn off “Recommended Posts”? I don’t want to watch any of that shit.

No it is not.

Our lives would be so much better if any of us could, especially the videos.

Video spam is the worst type of spam. (Well, I guess if the audio were also enabled by default, that would be worse.)

lol you guys haven’t deleted facebook yet

Social Media was the only way I knew where the fire was. I don’t think I am ever walking away now… because, you know, our local news and … all of them failed so, so miserably.

I’m not leaving my mom alone in that shithole.

Deleting Facebook isn’t the solution - it’s still a good way to communicate with friends and family, at least how I use it - but it’s very important to unfollow/unfriend/hide folks that you don’t agree with, rather than trying to engage with them, if you want a tolerable experience. I’m happy to say I saw none/nothing on my timeline all night or this morning that made me have to unfriend anyone.

Also, lately, Facebook has been running like shit for me no matter which network I’m using (home, LTE, office) so I haven’t been going there much.

Incorrect. Deleting Facebook is the solution.

For one thing, it’s not like you or anyone else lacks tools with which to communicate with friends and family. I promise you, that’s a thing we did before Facebook.

More importantly, though, every person who removes themselves from Facebook not only improves their own lives immeasurably, but weakens the grip of the monster on society.

The existence and prevalence of Facebook is such a massive net negative for humanity, anything anyone can do to push in the opposite direction is a win.

Delete Facebook. Be free.

Seriously. Facebook is trash.

You want to communicate with your family and friends? You can totally send them emails. Or better yet, pick up a phone.

I get the convenience of Facebook and their tools, but as someone who has never created a Facebook account it always has me looking a little side-eyed when I hear the “but how will I communicate with friends and family? I can’t give that up” stuff. I do get it but I honestly haven’t found it that onerous. I still am in contact with friends and family that I haven’t seen in a decade or more.

I mean okay, I guess I’m not in contact with hardcore Trumpies from my high school class or something but that’s a feature and not a bug as far as I’m concerned.

Shit like Facebook and Twitter don’t facilitate actual communication.

They facilitate garbage sharing in the guise of communication. It’s part of the fucking problem.
